Occupation overview

The bartender runs the bar — front of house and behind the counter.

From guest interaction and cocktail preparation to stock management, billing and shift handover — the bartender owns every operation within the bar. We train you in all four.

  • Mise-en-place & service area. Set up bar inventory, display beverages attractively in the cabinet, and maintain serving area cleanliness throughout the shift.
  • Guest reception. Welcome guests, identify their needs, present the bar offering, make recommendations and take orders professionally.
  • Beverage preparation. Prepare cocktails, hot and cold beverages, natural juices, and serve ready-made snacks and appetizers.
  • Closing the shift. Manage stock replenishment, use bar management software, issue bills and fiscal documents, close the shift with daily reports.
Special requirement. A medical fitness certificate is required before training begins. Professional attire, punctuality and courtesy are mandatory throughout the programme.
The syllabus

Six modules. Every shift,
start to finish.

Training is built around the six core activities of a working bartender. Each module combines classroom instruction with supervised time on a working bar in our Bucharest atelier.
