Legal entity behind the brand
The European Trade Academy brand, the europeanskills.ro website, and all programmes described on this site are operated by Neophron International SRL, a private limited liability company registered in Romania. The company is an authorised vocational training provider registered with the National Qualifications Authority (ANC), with its registered office at Bulevardul Unirii 27, 030828 Bucharest, Romania.
This Privacy Policy describes how Neophron International SRL (acting under the European Trade Academy brand, "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects the personal data of visitors, applicants, students, and employer partners. We comply with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Romanian Law No. 190/2018 on implementing measures.
1. What information we collect
Application data: full name, date of birth, citizenship, contact details, education history, ID document number, and language ability. Programme data: attendance records, assessment results, photographs taken during workshop training (with separate consent). Employer-liaison data: when you give consent to be introduced to employers, we share a verified dossier with selected partner companies. Website data: standard server logs, cookie identifiers, and analytics events (IP truncated, no cross-site tracking).
2. How we use your information
We process your data to evaluate applications, deliver the training programme, issue the official ANC certificate of qualification and Europass supplement, communicate with you about cohorts and intake windows, fulfil our legal record-keeping obligations toward ANC and Romanian tax authorities, and (where you give separate consent) introduce you to vetted Romanian employers. We do not sell your data to third parties under any circumstances.
3. Lawful basis for processing
We rely on the following GDPR lawful bases: (a) contract — to deliver the training programme you enrolled in; (b) legal obligation — to maintain certification records mandated by Government Ordinance 129/2000; (c) legitimate interest — for website security, fraud prevention, and limited analytics; (d) consent — for employer introductions, photography, and marketing emails.
4. Sharing and disclosure
We share your data with the National Qualifications Authority (ANC) for certificate issuance, with the Romanian tax authority (ANAF) for invoicing records, with our regulated hosting provider in the EU, and — only with your explicit prior consent — with named partner employers for placement purposes. We do not transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area.
5. Data retention
Application files of unsuccessful applicants are retained for 12 months and then permanently deleted. Student records (enrolment, attendance, assessment, certificate copy) are retained for 50 years in line with the certification archival obligations under Order 501/2003 of the Ministry of Labour. Marketing-list subscribers may unsubscribe at any time, after which the email is removed within 30 days.
6. Your rights under GDPR
You have the right to access, rectify, erase (where applicable), restrict, port, and object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to withdraw any consent you previously gave. To exercise any of these rights, write to the contact below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP) at www.dataprotection.ro.
