Soil preparation
Analyse the growing zone, apply fertilisers, prepare land and soil conditions for crops.
A four-month, 720-hour programme combining crop cultivation with animal husbandry. The only programme in our catalogue at EQF Level 3 — graduates are placed on a working farm within thirty days of certification.

The mixed farmer combines crop cultivation with animal husbandry — managing both plant production and livestock, and bringing the resulting agricultural products to market.
Training alternates between Schola's working farm in Ilfov county and classroom modules in Bucharest. Every module pairs supervised fieldwork with the underlying agronomy and animal-science theory.

Analyse the growing zone, apply fertilisers, prepare land and soil conditions for crops.

Sow seeds, irrigate, apply phytosanitary treatments and carry out all crop care operations.

Harvest field, vegetable and fodder crops; store products in appropriate conditions.

Prepare and maintain animal shelters to required welfare and hygiene standards.

Feed, groom and care for animals; manage reproduction, youth animals and identification.

Identify marketable production, promote and sell products, manage farm commerce.

Practical training takes place on Schola's twenty-hectare working farm in Ilfov county — equipped to commercial standard with machinery, livestock infrastructure and the same instruments you will use on a Romanian or EU farm.
Issued on completion of the programme. Both documents are recognised throughout Romania and the EU under Government Ordinance 129/2000.
