Timber processing
Manual and mechanized cutting, chiseling, drilling, planing and hollowing of timber.
A four-month, full-time programme in Bucharest leading to an EQF Level 3 occupational qualification. Graduates are placed on a regulated Romanian construction site within thirty days of graduation.

From load-bearing timber structures and roof frameworks to formwork for reinforced concrete and scaffolding for work at height — the carpenter builds the structure that every other trade depends on.
Training is built around the six core activities of a working carpenter. Each module combines classroom instruction with supervised practice in our Bucharest timber atelier and on the working site.

Manual and mechanized cutting, chiseling, drilling, planing and hollowing of timber.

Assemble roof frameworks: ridges, purlins, posts, rafters and auxiliary roof elements.

Mount and dismantle formwork for reinforced concrete elements and prefabricated panels.

Build and dismantle scaffolding and falsework for working at height on the construction site.

Build timber staircases with balustrades, handrails and auxiliary stair elements.

Construct timber panel buildings; apply ICT tools and energy-efficiency measures.

The Schola timber atelier in Bucharest is fitted to commercial standard. Every module is taught with the same measuring tools, hand tools and power equipment you will find on your first day of work.
Issued on completion of the programme. Both documents are recognised throughout Romania and the EU under Government Ordinance 129/2000.
